Dry heat
Finnish sauna
A high temperature and generally low humidity create intense heat intended for controlled, mindful stays.
Heat, essences and silence
An experience built around heat, breathing and listening to the body, to be enjoyed calmly, mindfully and with respect for your limits.
Dry heat · intimate atmosphere
Finnish sauna
The warm, dry environment invites the body to slow down and heightens the perception of breathing, silence and time.
Perspiration increases during a sauna session and temporary changes in heart rate and blood pressure may occur. The experience should therefore be approached gradually, without strain, and stopped immediately if you feel unwell.
The sauna is a wellness experience and does not replace medical diagnosis, advice or treatment.
Temperature and humidity
The relationship between heat and steam profoundly changes the nature of the experience.
Dry heat
A high temperature and generally low humidity create intense heat intended for controlled, mindful stays.
Moderate heat
Lower temperatures and greater humidity create a gentler, more gradual sensation than a Finnish sauna.
Steam
A more moderate temperature and very high humidity envelop the space, making the heat feel denser and more intense.
Mindful use
Preparation, the session, cooling down and rest form a single cycle.
Avoid heavy meals and do not use the sauna after drinking alcohol.
Shower before entering, dry your body and take a sufficiently large towel with you.
The towel must completely separate your body from the wood, supporting comfort and hygiene.
Never force yourself to stay. Leave immediately if you experience dizziness, nausea, weakness or difficulty breathing.
If you have been lying down, sit for a few moments and rise calmly before leaving the sauna.
Follow the cooling phase indicated by staff, then allow yourself a few minutes of rest.
Drink water before and after the cycle to replace fluids lost through perspiration.
Guided ritual
A burst of steam changes the perception of heat for several minutes, turning the sauna into a guided, theatrical experience.
The Aufgussmeister pours water and essences over the hot stones and distributes the steam with controlled towel movements. Rhythm, fragrance and heat come together in a single moment.
Their role is to support guests’ well-being and lead the ritual, without providing diagnostic or therapeutic services.
Olfactory landscape
The intensity and persistence of the fragrance change the nature of the experience without turning it into medical or therapeutic treatment.

Body and perception
Many people associate the sauna with a feeling of relaxation, calm and temporary relief from tension.
These sensations are subjective and must not be interpreted as guaranteed therapeutic effects.
Silence and heat provide a break from everyday stimulation.
Muscles and joints may perceive the heat as pleasant.
Showering, hygiene and rest complete the sense of well-being.
The cycle encourages you to recognise and respect your body’s signals.
Before entering
Intense heat may not be suitable for everyone and may interact with health conditions and treatments.
if you experience dizziness, nausea, weakness, palpitations, difficulty breathing or any unusual symptom.
